Come Fly With Me!

My husband works for a distinguished Pacific Northwest airline, whose name I will not divulge, but whose identity any discerning Googler should be able to unearth. Last Friday, they took delivery of a brand, spanking new Boeing 737-800, and my husband was one of the employees chosen to experience the maiden flight. Here are some pictures he took from on-board the airplane:

I can only imagine the snaps he would have gotten, had the day been clear and sunny. I love the top one of Mt. Rainier so much, maybe I'll use it in my blog template next winter.

So beautiful! You should definitely use the Mt. Ranier pic - it turned out so well.

Holy Moly! Your husband doesn't work for Alaska, does he?

My mom has been a flight attendant with them for about twenty years.

Hey Kadie!!!

How cool to see you here! I like your myspace site -- I wanted to send you a message via that site, but they wanted me to sign up, and, right now, I can only imagine how little I'd get done with yet another net outlet to steal away my time and attention. :-)

Ha! Ha! That's my Bug on the pic with Kadie, should you visit her site. I'm looking forward to poking around there more soon -- just as soon as I get this Sword of Damocles book rec. done.

Hey Flicka!

You know it, lady! Does your mom live out in the PNW? And, if so, when do we get to hang on your next visit to see her?

Hi Joelle!

I'm so glad that Mt. Rainier was "out" at least one day on your trip up north. Wasn't he stunning on our trip back from Seattle?

Peace to all!

Really? He works for Alaska?

This is soooo great!

My mom lives really close to John Wayne Airport.

Could you fly down for a day when I'm visiting sometime? There's lots to do.

Let's plan a visit one of these days.

Flicka!

Yes! Do let me know the next time you are down in CA. It would be just about the easiest thing for me to fly down to Orange County (The O.C. -- *snicker*) for a rendezvous. I'll have a three-year-old in tow, so I hope that's okay.

Peace to you!

Of course I knew you'd have your three year old in tow - and I'll have my three noisy indians. They are a bit older and will be very good with your "bug".

If your husband can come too, it will be a big family affair. My husband almost always accompanies me to CA.

Yeahhhh!!!!!!

I don't know when I'll be there next - possibly this August - but I will let you know well in advance the next time I fly in.

That pic of Kadie and the bug is so adorable!

Man, I think someone would have to pay me to go back to the O.C. and the whole L.A. area. Definitely NOT one of my favorite places in the world.

Crazyjo,

Give me a weekend in O.C. and I'll make you a believer!
